Congratulations Chinese Summer Camp
June 22 - 26, 2009

Phoenix Chinese Week was happy to partner with the Phoenix Sister Cities Taipei Committee to present the 2009 Taipei Chinese Culture Summer Camp.

This year was the 13th annual summer camp for the award winning Taipei Chinese Culture Summer Camp. The camp is the 2008 recipient of Phoenix Mayor’s Partnership Award.

This summer the camp was held at Longview Elementary School.

It was a wonderful cultural and educational experience that provided youth the opportunity to learn the importance of culture awareness and diversity... continued here

We are excited to have our next general meeting on Tuesday, Feb, 2 at 7:00pm at the Gourmet House of Hong Kong.

The 2010 Chinese New Year is upon us!! We STILL have lots of room for volunteers and committee helpers.

You should come to our meeting if:

You are interested in learning more about Phoenix Chinese Week.
You are interested in finding volunteer opportunities in the upcoming Chinese New Year Festival.
You are interested in learning about Chinese culture.
You are interested in sharing what you know about Chinese culture.
You are interested in promoting cultural diversity in the Phoenix area.
You are a student or concerned citizen interested ways to become involved in the local community.

The Phoenix Chinese Week Annual Chinese New Year Festival is the result of the work of many people coming together. We need team leaders and volunteers in everything from Children Activities, Performers, Vendors, Sponsors, Festival Team Leaders, Committee members and more!!

Please join us this Tuesday for our meeting and find out how YOU can become involved!!
